About

This theme emulates a cork-board adorned with Post-It notes. The arrangement of the posts on the board is somewhat stochastic owing to post length and ordering. Best results will be seen in wide browser windows.

Theme Update: 1.03

Changes:

  1. By popular demand, the no-dates version has returned, cleverly integrated into the dated version. To suppress the dates on posts, just remove the two lines from the source that include the phrase “Remove this line to hide dates”.
  2. Added links to the user definable colors.

Theme Update: 1.02

Changes:

  1. Added support for Post Notes feature
  2. Added custom CSS support

Note: Going forward, I’ve standardized on the Dated version of the theme in anticipation of moving this theme to the Tumblr Garden. If there’s great outcry with this decision, I’m amenable to revisiting this decision.

Variant: Dated Posts

Jon Steinberg asked if it would be possible to date stamp the posts. Sure it is.

If you too desire this feature, grab the variant theme file linked above.

Design Note

Turns out you cannot use { block:Post# } blocks within the post blocks (such as { block:Text }). That sucks because it forced me to statically define the float property based on post type rather than post position. It still works this way, but it is less random.

Subway Maps

I’ve no idea why this is among my bookmarks. There’s not a subway within a thousand miles of me.
